I'm working on updating various parts of this site while working on tons of client projects! I'm suspending news updates for now, until the updates are finished. -Dave
"I can't remember how I found Dave, but he has done a better job, is faster and less expensive than all the web designers I have worked with to date.
He is professional, honest and very helpful with all of my questions and web initiatives. I honestly don’t think you can find a better person to work with."
Jim Johnson, Lightship Research
I'm Dave Currier and I've been a web developer for almost 11 years now, and I've been doing graphic design and media production for the past 5 years. I studied web design and interactive media production at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and I've been designing and developing at a professional capacity ever since.
To sum it up in as few words as possible, I become an employee for a day. That's it! What my "day to day" consists of really depends on what we decide as a team. The first few days are spent doing research and goal setting. White boarding sessions are the name of the game, and this allows me to get to know everyone who I'll be working with, what everyone is capable of and what sorts of training classes I'll have to put together.
I work one 8 hour day in your office, and I work 30 minutes a day from home the other 4 days of the week. While I'm in your office, I'll do the time consuming edits, film, take pictures, develop strategy, have meetings, and lead training sessions. The time I spend at home on the "off" days is spent tracking our web and marketing initiatives, putting together reports, finishing up tasks that didn't get done, etc. Its basically a way for me to stay on top of your site 5 days a week so you don't lose the edge over your competition.
